| COLONIAL PARK WINNERS |
| Thanks to all who attended the opening of Colonial Park on May 8th. The |
| day was filled with good friends, fun games, and of course, an excellent |
| picnic spread! Congratulations to the numerous winners of Explosion!, |
| hosted by Aviva Jacobsen, and to the various winners of Morada Trivia, |
| hosted by Derrie Fields. |
|
| Special congratulations also to Armand Chascour, Jon Garfield and Edward |
| Straker, winners of the Puppet Show hosted by Cindy Stapleton. Winners of |
| the Puppet Show received special merchant certificates that could be |
| cashed in for a private audience with a merchant for them and three of |
| their friends. |
|
| And finally, a special thanks to Ferd Berfel, for his help in finding the |
| little lost girl Krissy Baker and returning her to her babysitter, |
| Michelle Keiser. Great job, everyone! |

| A ROYAL REWARD! |
| King Matthew needs your help! On May 2nd, thugs, henchmen, and others |
| invaded the Royal Palace! The King was unharmed, thanks to many Islanders |
| that rallied together to support the Palace defenses, but many Royal |
| Artifacts were discovered missing after the attack. |
|
| The Royal Family is offering a $10,000 reward for each item returned to |
| them. Police believe the items are probably in the possession of perps all |
| over the island, and are clearly marked as property of the Royal Family. |
| To claim your reward, return items to Detective Constable Phil Sather at |
| the Royal Palace North Lawns. You can read more about the Palace invasion |
| in Gavin Hale's article in The Informer Archives. |

| FREAK SHOP OPENS! |
| Located in the Brownstone in North Downtown, The Freak Shop offers clothes |
| for those of you with fashion tastes that are a bit on the wild side! You |
| know who you are, so come check us out! And check back regularly, you |
| never know when inventory might roll over, making new items available. |
| Also, new dyables are available at Uhdi's Dye Shop in the Mercado Mall. |

| Morada issues the call for Mentors! Mentors, or Island Guides as they are |
| called in Morada, are a group of players dedicated to helping others and |
| enhancing the Roleplaying experience for everyone! If you think you have |
| the skills to become an Island Guide, write [email protected] and |
| request an application. Check out http://mentors.play.net for more |
| information. Mentor History, Requirements, and an online Mentor |
| Application will be available there soon! |

| MENTOR FORUM |
| Still have questions about Mentors in Morada? Join us at the Mentor Forum |
| on June 2 that will be held in the Portmanteau Club's Sitting Room. There |
| will be a brief presentation on what Mentors will bring to our fair |
| island, what Mentors will be required to do, etc. And afterwards, we'll |
| open up the floor to answer your questions and concerns. |

| RENFAIR IS COMING! |
| Join us at our next big event! The Third Annual RenFaire will be held on |
| June 19th! Balmour Country Club Members are helping us organize the |
| festivities, so make your opinions heard! Look for banner postings that |
| will announce the activities, a costume contest, a raffle featuring |
| merchant items, games, free food and drink, and much much more! See you |
| there! |

| BOARD OF GOVERNORS |
| A Board of Governor's Meeting was held on Thursday, May 20th. The Board |
| voted for the Monorail Project to be built using the more futuristic Mag- |
| Lev design. The Board also voted in a proposal by the University that will |
| allow students to compete in designing the Monorail Station that will |
| connect to the University. |
|
| Look for upcoming details on official rules and prizes for the University |
| School of Design Monorail Station Contest! Another open Board of |
| Governor's Meeting will be held mid to late June, watch the Banner for |
| details. |

| questions, and offer valuable tips. Visit the Zoo, filled with a sampling |
| of the wild life you can run into around Athens, or join the Mentors for a |
| brew at a neighborhood taverna and see another sort of wild life |
| altogether! |
